Environmental Fencing

Post and Rail fencing.Post and Rail Fencing

Post and rail fencing is pretty much the standard method when a fence is needed in a more country type surrounding. It can be used to seperate fields, and with the addition of stock fencing, can be used to contain animals such as sheep. Cleft chestnut posts are more commonly used, although Sorn can also be used to create a tidier look.

Reptile fencing.Reptile Fencing

Reptile fencing comes in many forms, and there is no set way of installing it. Each circumstance is different. The ground condition, surroundings, and overall result you are trying to achieve all contribute to the decision on what materials to use. With more and more 'environmental' land being bought up for development, environmental fencing is a growing sector.

Badger gates.Badger Gates

A relatively strange contraption, but nonetheless important in the environmental sector are badger gates. Constructed and put in place as a way of getting the animals to carry on with their routine when an obstruction is put in place. The badger can gently nudge the gate open with it's nose and is able to pass through the fence so as not to get confused and wander in to a dangerous place.
