Driveway Gates - Timber*
Timber driveway gates can make any entrance way look appealing, at an affordable price. There are many different styles of timber driveway gates, standard 'stock' design and bespoke, available in both hardwood and softwood. AVS can make the bespoke gates to fit any height and width and all timber used is pressure treated to withstand natural weather conditions.
Driveway Gates - Steel*
Steel driveway gates are an alternative solution to the timber gates, although steel tends to be more expensive. Steel driveway gates usually come in set widths and height but we are able to have bespoke gates hand crafted by a local ornamental blacksmith this, however, is a much more expensive option. Standard steel gates usually come galvanised but can be powder coated black.
Field Gates*
As the name suggests, Field Gates are almost exclusively used as entrance gates to fields and farms. Field gates are available in a variety of widths and heights and can be timber or steel. The timber gates come pressure treated but due to their use it wouldn't hurt to re-coat them with a weatherproofing stain. The steel gates come galvanised, so they won't rust.
Side Entrance Gates*
Side entrance gates are more often than not constructed from timber and are of about 1 metre wide. The height can vary, from small 900mm gates up to 1800mm high gates. The gates can be of closeboard, panel, tongue & grooved or palisade style and can be made to order. All timber is pressure treated.
Steel Security Gates
These heavy duty security gates are ideal for use in entrances to industrial sites, compounds and factory buildings. They give both security and authority. Steel palisade, chainlink, weld mesh and steel bar varieties are available and can be 'stock' size or made to measure. Padlocks and chain can be supplied, or simply use your existing security device.
Pedestrian Security Gates
Pedestrian security gates come in a selection of different styles inlcuding; mesh, steel palisade and chainlink. They are used mainly for pedestrian access to commercial buildings compounds such as factories, warehouses, industrial estates and sports grounds. These gates are also ideal for schools as they offer a high level of security.
Supplied with dropbolt(s), hinges and latch as standard. Additional gate furniture can be supplied at extra cost.
